Funny how a name sticks . . . . GlowStickerBoyz

Julian and Clinton are our names and we are commonly known as the GlowStickerBoyz! You may have seen us running around at special events, parties and clubs, handing out glow sticks and stickers to everyone we can. You may have even been one of those people that we have given a glow stick or sticker to.

It all started 6 years ago in 2004 not long after we had met each other while away on holidays at the same time. We hit it off instantly and there started the relationship and bond we have today. At the time we had both come from bad relationships and were looking to enjoy life again. But that wasn't enough for us and wanted to make sure everyone around us enjoyed life too. So at one of the first parties we went to we decided to go out and buy a few thousand stickers to take along with us in our pockets intending to put them on as many people as we could in the night while running around dancing the night away. As it turned out it was a hit and people loved it and brought a huge smile to their face and in turn ours as well.

Then we wanted to do something more. . . . .we found glow sticks. Now armed with sheets of stickers and pockets of glow sticks we hit the parties and clubs. Again everyone loved them and we were approached by some of the clubs and major dance parties in Sydney to attend their events to do our thing. WOW was our response and YES of course, and thus began the GlowStickerBoyz.

We don't ask for money when handing out stickers and glow sticks to people - only when we are trying to raise funds for a charity so if we do ask its for a good cause so please help us out. Yes the glow sticks and stickers cost us money and it can be quite costly when there are 4000 glow sticks and stickers. The majority of the time we cover the cost, just because we want to and we enjoy it so why not it makes people happy. There are the occasions where a event asks us to attend and they will generally cover the costs of the glow sticks but our time is free we love being there and enjoying what we can.
